The 275 Day Stomach Ache

Did any of you other pregnant ladies out there deal with frequent, almost constant stomach upsets. From the very beginning there's nearly always been something. Heartburn, regular stomach aches, feeling really full when I'm not, and every version of stomach upset? I really feel it's uncalled for and want it to go away. Any tips?

I had heartburn almost constantly through my second pregnancy. My Dr told me Tums is safe to take, and they helped a lot. I'd ask you Dr. first though.

Hope you feel better!!

Yes....pretty much if you are short and a baby squishes your stomach up and gives stomach aches...
What are you taking for the heartburn?

Tums have failed to do much so I've scrapped them. I'm taking an extra calcium/magnesium supplement for the heartburn and it has helped a HUGE amount but the stomach aches are only sometimes due to heartburn. At my last prenatal it was suggested I might have a wheat intolerance so I'm off wheat for the next two weeks to see if it helps.

I dreamed about your baby's birth last night. It was a very black haired boy and we were all stunned at how very cute he was. The baby on the other hand was screaming in protest at being out of the warm dark home he was used to... ~Diana

I am convinced that pretty much heartburn is just a plague that women must suffer.....and especially short ones with no room to squish that stomach into....
